YORK COUNTY, S.C. -- Authorities say a man who was wanted in connection with Wednesday morning's shooting in York County is now in custody.
At the time of the manhunt, 30-year-old Robert Beverly was wanted for attempted murder in a shooting that took place around 2 a.m. in Clover. Beverly was arrested in Gaston County later in the evening after K9 officers took him down, reports NBC Charlotte's Richard DeVayne.
Beverly was taken to a hospital after suffering injuries during the manhunt.
Deputies said Wednesday morning's shooting took place in the 1200 block of Bowling Green Drive.
