CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Six people with alleged ties to the United Bloods gang appeared in federal court Monday morning for a bond hearing.
The defendants are accused of plotting to kill Doug and Debbie London who owned a mattress store. The state said that when gang members attempted to rob the store and one was wounded and caught, it set off the plot to kill the London's.
In Court today four men Daquan "Day Day" Everett, Ahkeem and Raheem McDonald, Randall Hawkins and one women Centrilla "CeCe" Leach, were denied bond today in federal court.
Defendant Nehemijel "Mijel" Houston had his case continued until a further date.
Afterwards the family members of the suspects did not want to speak on camera other than to say "no comment."
