STANLY COUNTY, N.C. -- A 19-year-old Cabarrus County man has been arrested and charged with second-degree rape.
Detectives with the Stanly County Sheriff's Office began investigating an alleged sexual assault involving a juvenile last Saturday in Locust.
Evidence obtained throughout the investigation pointed to Joshua Jay Clark, 19, of Midland, as the suspect, authorities say.
Clark was arrested and charged with second-degree rape. His bond was set at $20,000.
