LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Lincoln County deputies are asking for the public's help finding a man wanted in connection with the death of an 18-year-old Charlotte woman whose body was found last weekend.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office found the body of 18-year-old Sydney Bisson along North Carolina 150 in Boger City on Nov. 10. Bisson's cause of death hasn't been released by detectives.
Investigators are now looking for 34-year-old Gregory Clifford Houser of Bessemer City in connection with her death. Deputies have obtained multiple warrants for Houser's arrest on charges of concealing and failing to report a death. He also has other pending charges in Catawba, Gaston, Lincoln and Mecklenburg counties.
Houser was placed on pre-trial electronic monitoring by Gaston County officials but he's accused of tampering with the devices. In addition to the charge related to Bisson's death, Houser is being sought on count of interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office at 704-732-9050 immediately. Witnesses may also call Lincoln County Crime Stoppers at 704-736-8909. All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
