Driver steals power tools after crashing into Charlotte store, CMPD investigating

The owner of the store said someone crashed into the store, jumped out and stole several power tools.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating after a robbery in west Charlotte on Tuesday morning. 

Early Tuesday, a truck crashed into the Hilti on Clanton Road just off Interstate 77. The owner of the store said someone crashed into the store, jumped out and stole several power tools.

No suspects have been arrested or named publicly at this time.
