CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a possibly armed suspect near West Mecklenburg High School Friday afternoon, according to school officials.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools confirmed the school was placed on lockdown due to the investigation.
