CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for the public’s help finding a wanted felon.
CMPD said that Dexter Houston is wanted for possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, discharging a firearm in the city limits and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Houston was ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device when he was released from jail, but police said he removed it on April 10. He was last known to be in the area of the 2600 block of Ashley Road in Charlotte.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600 or call 911 immediately.
