CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say one person remains on the loose after failing to stop for a police officer Thursday evening.
Around 5:50 Thursday evening, an officer attempted to make a traffic stop on Graham Street near I-85; the driver refused to pull over, and the officer continued to follow the vehicle until it crashed near Reagan and Hampton Way.
One occupant was immediately taken into custody, while a second fled the scene on foot. Aviation and K-9 units were called in to assist in the search.
