CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A car crashed into an east Charlotte car stereo shop early Wednesday morning.
The incident happened before 5 a.m. at Discount Car Audio, which is near the intersection of Milton Road and The Plaza. No one was hurt during the incident, according to Medic.
The storefront had significant damage with shattered windows and doors caused by the collision. Crime tape was placed around the front of the building to keep people away from the store. Stereo equipment including subwoofers and speaker boxes were scattered in the parking lot.
WCNC Charlotte asked Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police for details about the incident, but so far CMPD hasn't responded to that request. It's unclear if anyone was arrested or if detectives have identified a suspect.
