KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. – A second teenager has been charged in connection with the murder of a Kings Mountain man.
Trevor Lewis Flores, 18, was charged with one felony count of accessory after the fact related to the murder of Darren Reid Sarvis. He made his first appearance in court Wednesday. He also faces charges of obstruction of justice and resisting a public officer.
Investigators say that Flores helped Kelly Reid Sarvis, 18, dispose of guns stolen from the house after Sarvis’ father was murdered. Sarvis is facing a first-degree murder charge for the killing.
Kelly Sarvis was also in court today for a bond hearing but his interim lawyer says they will waive to Superior Court. #wcnc
