ARAB, AL -- Authorities are asking the public to keep an eye out for four young missing brothers from Alabama that may be headed to North Carolina.
According to Alabama Law Enforcement, the four children were last seen in Arab, Alabama Friday before they disappeared. Local media reported that the children were taken from their grandmother's home without permission after they were placed there as part of a safety plan.
The children are:
- 1-year-old Corbin Simmons. He stands at 2'0" tall and weighs around 25 lbs. He has brown eyes and brown hair.
- 4-year-old Alexander Simmons. He stands at 2'6" tall and weighs around 30 lbs. He has brown eyes and blonde/strawberry blonde hair.
- 5-year-old Nicolas Simmons. He stands at 3'1" tall and weighs around 35 lbs. He has brown eyes and brown hair.
- 11-year-old Ian Simmons. He stands at 4'5" tall and weighs around 86 lbs. He has blue eyes and blonde/strawberry blonde hair.
Authorities said the missing children may be traveling in a 2003 white Ford Windstar with the Alabama license plate of 8AJ1511.
WAFF reported that the children's parents, 29-year-old Carrissa Renee Cummings and 39-year-old Marcus Eugene Simmons, are the main suspects at this time.
