HICKORY, N.C. — Hickory police are investigating a deadly shooting at an apartment complex on Sunday, detectives said.
Hickory Police responded to a reported shooting at the Barklay Falls Apartments a little after midnight on Jan. 21. When police arrived, they found 49-year-old Howard Lesley Redmon suffering from a gunshot wound. Redmon, who was from Granite Falls, died at the scene.
No one else was hurt in the incident, police said. Hickory police haven't announced any arrests or filed any charges in connection with Redmon's death at this time.
