CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Court documents reveal a man intentionally set an apartment on fire late Friday night.
Lovett Henderson, 38, was arrested shortly after midnight, less than an hour after Charlotte Fire crews responded to the fire on Magnolia Hill Drive.
According to court documents, Henderson is accused of intentionally setting his neighbor's on fire while she was still inside.
However, the neighbor whose apartment Henderson is accused of setting on fire told WCNC Charlotte that her apartment was not set on fire. She says Henderson set his own apartment on fire.
As of Sunday, court records do not show Henderson is accused of setting his own home on fire.
The estimated property and content loss was valued at about $127,000.
Henderson is expected to face of judge on Monday morning regarding the charges.
