Florida man accepts plea agreement for sexual assault on flight to Charlotte

The terms of the federal plea agreement have not yet been made public.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Florida man accused of sexually assaulting a flight attendant back in 2020 has accepted a plea deal. It happened on a flight from Sarasota, Florida to Charlotte, North Carolina. 

Court documents obtained by WCNC Charlotte say Gary Sorichetti touched a flight attendant inappropriately.

The terms of the federal plea agreement have not been made public at this time.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department investigated the incident in February of 2020, according to court documents.
