FORT MILL, S.C. — A pair of suspects are being sought for what police say was a would-be carjacking early Saturday morning.
The Fort Mill Police Department said it happened just before 4 a.m. in the downtown area, at the intersection of Main Street and Tom Hall Street. Officers said the two suspects approached a car stopped at the intersection while armed with guns.
Police said the intended victim was able to drive away, but the suspects fired into the car several times. The driver was not hurt.
Officers said the suspects were last seen getting away in a black sedan. Further descriptive details were not immediately available.
