One person was seriously injured in a shooting on Freedom Drive in west Charlotte, Medic said.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and Medic responded to a shooting along Freedom Drive, near the intersection with Alleghany Street, around 9:45 a.m. Medic confirmed one person was rushed to Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries.
CMPD hasn't released any further information at this time. It's unclear if a suspect is in custody.
