CHARLOTTE, N.C. — What started as a call for a cardiac arrest in north Charlotte evolved into a double homicide investigation.
Medic first reported they were called to John Dale Lane near Granite Creek Lane in the Nevin community around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. However, they later said they found two patients dead when they arrived.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department later announced officers had launched a homicide investigation. Investigators said both victims had gunshot wounds and were known to each other.
The victims have since been identified as 63-year-old Teresa Polk and 65-year-old Michael Ewing.
