CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person is dead after a shooting in a west Charlotte neighborhood overnight Tuesday, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.
The shooting happened along Reid Avenue, which is off West Boulevard, around 12:30 a.m., police said. Officers on the scene found one victim with a gunshot wound.
The victim died at the scene, according to police.
No word on whether there are known suspects at this time.
