Shooting leaves 1 person dead in north Charlotte

The incident happened on Quentin Street on Sunday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting on Sunday.

CMPD says the shooting happened on Southwest Blvd just off of Quentin Street just before 10 p.m. One person was found dead at the scene from gunshot wound injuries.

No information has been given on any victims or suspects.

CMPD is working to further investigate this shooting.
