HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — One person is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a shooting at a parking lot of a Huntersville Walmart, according to Medic.
The shooting happened on Wednesday afternoon in the 11000 block of Bryton Town Center Drive, near a Super Walmart.
The identity of the victim is currently unknown.
According to a statement from the Huntersville Police Department, the suspect left the scene before police arrived. According to their investigation, it appears that the suspect and the victim probably know each other.
The Walmart is open to the public and there is currently no danger to the public.
