STATESVILLE, N.C. — A Statesville man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.
Robert Clark Taylor was arrested on Friday by detectives with the Special Victim's Unit of the sheriff's office. Investigators said they were tipped off about the alleged material from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Taylor has been charged with ten counts of second-degree felony sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the sheriff's office. He is currently being held at the Iredell County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
