MOORESVILLE, N.C. — An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed at a Mooresville apartment complex on Sunday night, Mooresville officials said.
Around 11:15 p.m. officers with the Mooresville Police Department responded to a shooting at the Meadowlark Glen Apartments, just off Selma Drive where they found Clifton Cornelius Vandiver, 20 of Concord, with multiple gunshot wounds.
The shooting appeared to stem from a fight involving multiple people, officials said.
Vandiver was taken to a hospital in Huntersville where he died from his injuries, according to officials.
No word on whether there are any known suspects at this time.
