More than 30 Charlotte-area McDonald's locations will donate a portion of Tuesday's proceeds to benefit the families of officers killed on April 29.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Multiple Charlotte-area McDonald's restaurants will donate a portion of proceeds from Tuesday's sales to benefit the families of officers injured and killed in last week's shooting

A total of 35 McDonald's locations in the Charlotte area will donate 10% of sales from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday. The restaurant chain will create a fund to disperse the money raised to benefit the families.
