Last video of groom and late wife released after killer sentenced to prison

Samantha Miller and Aric Hutchinson had just been married when a drunk driver crashed into the golf cart they were riding in.

CHARLESTON, S.C. — After Jamie Komoroski was sentenced to 25 years in prison Monday for killing a Charlotte bride and injuring her new husband in a Folly Beach, South Carolina DUI crash in 2023, the groom's family released a video showing some of the last moments the couple shared.

Annette Hutchinson, the mother of groom Aric Hutchinson, released the video to NBC News. That video was the last taken of the happy couple before the tragic crash.

Annette Hutchinson said the family wanted to release the video to bring awareness to impaired driving in the hopes of sparing another family from such a tragedy.
