Shots fired into house near north Charlotte park, CMPD says

One person suffered life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people were injured in a shooting in north Charlotte last week, police confirmed. 

The incident happened along August Street, near Lasalle Street and Lincoln Heights Park on March 29. According to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police incident report, the shooter fired multiple shots into a house, hitting two people inside.

Both victims were taken to the hospital by Medic. One of them suffered life-threatening injuries, officials confirmed. 

No arrests have been made and CMPD hasn't released any suspect information. Anyone with information is asked to call Charlotte Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
