CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A suspect was arrested after a shooting seriously injured one person in north Charlotte Friday morning, police said.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and Medic responded to a shooting along Lincoln Heights Court, which is near Lincoln Heights Park and La Salle Street, around 3:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old man who had been shot.
The victim was rushed to Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.
A suspect was arrested on the scene. CMPD has not identified that person or announced their charges at this time. Detectives have not said if they are looking for any further suspects in connection with this incident.
