CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was seriously hurt after a stabbing in north Charlotte Thursday night.
It happened on West W.T. Harris Boulevard, near Old Sugar Creek Road around 9 p.m.
Medic initially said one person, later identified as 23-year-old Miles Hines, had life-threatening injuries. A second person had serious injuries, though the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department later clarified only one of the individuals was stabbed. According to police, the second person allegedly stabbed Hines. The suspect has not been named by police yet.
Both people were taken to an area hospital for treatment, Medic said.
What led up to the stabbing is not known at this time. CMPD is investigating the incident.
