CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman is accused of assaulting several people, including multiple children, with a "blunt object" and a man is accused of firing a gun into an occupied vehicle and two homes, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department incident report.
It happened Monday on Red Vest Way in north Charlotte, not far from Sunset Road.
The police report referenced 12 victims in total, ranging in age from 2 to 35. Of the 12 victims, seven were under the age of 18. The injuries listed ranged from a gun threat to gunshot wounds.
Multiple victims, including the 2-year-old, did not have a listed injury but were present during the incident.
Details about the suspects are limited at this time, though the police report notes this remains an active investigation.
