1 person shot in northeast Charlotte, Medic says

It happened on Stitt Road, near the intersection of Eastway Drive and North Tryon Street.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was seriously hurt after a shooting in northeast Charlotte, Medic confirmed.

It happened Wednesday on Stitt Road, near the intersection of Eastway Drive and North Tryon Street and not far from the Ella B. Scarborough Community Resource Center.

Details about the shooting are limited at this time. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not yet released any information about a potential suspect or any other injuries.
