One person was seriously injured in a shooting in northwest Charlotte on Thursday afternoon, Medic said.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to a reported shooting on North Hoskins Road near the intersection with Brookshire Boulevard around 1:30 p.m. One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.
Multiple CMPD officers were seen surrounding a home with crime scene tape. Detectives haven't released any further details at this time and it's unclear if CMPD has identified a suspect in the case.
