CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman was shot and killed at an apartment complex in south Charlotte on Friday morning, detectives said.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to a shooting at the corner of High Meadow and Archdale Drive a little after 10 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a person shot to death.
CMPD later identified the victim as 42-year-old Lashunda Shmicka McLendon. It's unclear if investigators have identified a suspect in the shooting and no arrests have been announced.
