ROCK HILL, S.C. — Law enforcement officers in York County were able to find a person who allegedly ran from a police chase.
The search happened near Cherry Park in Rock Hill. The man was being pursued by law enforcement officers when a crash occurred near University Drive and Eden Terrace Road, according to the York County Sheriff's Office. The man reportedly ran away.
According to the York County Sheriff's Office, the K9 team apprehended the suspect and placed him into custody at 1:40 p.m.
Deputies from the York County Sheriff's Office and officers from the Rock Hill Police Department participated in the search.
There was a limited description of the man, who is described as wearing a gray shirt, blue and white shorts.
The reason authorities were originally pursuing the man was not immediately known.
