Police searching for driver involved in deadly crash on Billy Graham Parkway

CMPD said a Honda Accord sideswiped a Buick Enclave, pushed it into oncoming traffic, then took off.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The car that caused a deadly crash on Billy Graham Parkway between S. Tryon St. and  W. Tyvola Rd. last month has been found, but the driver remains on the run.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said a Honda Accord sideswiped a Buick Enclave, pushed it into oncoming traffic, then took off.

The Buick was hit by two other cars. The driver, 23-year-old Lester Anderson, was hospitalized and later died from his injuries. Five other people were hurt.

Police said they seized the Honda that was involved, and they're asking the public for information about the driver.
