CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Residents of a west Charlotte neighborhood are concerned after reporting what they’re calling a drive-by shooting.
A surveillance video shared with NBC Charlotte shows a car driving down Morson Street when two distinct pops are heard just after midnight on Monday.
"It makes you think, what's going on in the neighborhood,” Larry Mobley said.
He has lived in the neighborhood for decades.
“We don't need that over here," he said.
Neighbors said they haven’t been able to figure out where the alleged shots may have landed.
"You have to be aware,” Mobley said. “Keep your eyes open. Hope it [doesn't] happen [any] more around here cause that ain't good."
Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
