ROCK HILL, S.C. — The Rock Hill Police Department is investigating a reported strong-armed robbery that unfolded near a PNC Bank ATM Thursday afternoon.
Police said it happened around 2:40 p.m. at the branch located along India Hook Road, near Herlong Avenue. An ATM maintenance worker was reportedly approached by three men who ordered him away from the machine. The trio then removed the cash boxes before driving away in a black sedan.
Officers note the suspects wore all-black clothing with bandanas covering their faces. No weapons were seen during the incident.
