In 2001, evidence belonging to Asha was located in Burke County.  The warrants released on Monday state that DNA found on that evidence matched two other people, AnnaLee Dedmon. As well as Russell Underhill. So who are these two?

AnnaLee Dedmon is the youngest daughter of both Roy and Connie Dedmon. AnnaLee was 13 at the time of Asha’s disappearance.

Russell Underhill lived in two assisted living facilities owned and or operated by the Dedmons. That includes around the time of Asha’s disappearance. Underhill listed Roy Dedmon as his emergency contact while at that assisted living facility. he died in 2004.

The warrants state the only link between Russell and Annalee are Roy And Connie Dedmon, who are listed as suspects. So why are they listed as suspects?

The warrants went on to say, “Due to the ages of Roy Dedmon and Connie Dedmon’s three daughters in the year of 2000, investigators believe adult assistance would have been necessary in the execution and/or concealment of the crime.”
