ROCK HILL, S.C. — Deputies cordoned off a mobile home park in the Rock Hill area Thursday night as they investigate a shooting and search for suspects.
The York County Sheriff's Office shared initial details on Facebook around 6 p.m., telling residents deputies responded to the Adnah Hills Avenue park for a shooting. At the time, they were searching for four males and set up a perimeter. K9 tracking teams were also searching on the ground.
Minutes later, deputies said one suspect was in custody, and they were looking for two more. One suspect was reportedly wearing a blue baseball jersey, while the other one was dressed in black clothing.
Residents in the area were advised to call 9-1-1 and not approach the potential suspects. Deputies later noted that at least one victim was taken to a hospital with several gunshot wounds. That person's condition is not known as of publication.
WCNC Charlotte sent a photographer to capture video from the scene. Eventually, deputies left the scene. Further updates were promised Thursday.
