CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- More than three decades after raping three woman, the so-called ski mask rapist learned his fate.
Jerry Brooks, 63, was convicted in connection with the attacks.
Police say back in 1979, Brooks brutally assaulted and raped three Charlotte women.
These were considered cold cases until 2012, when investigators say they linked Brooks to the incidents through DNA.
He pleaded guilty to all counts of first-degree rape and has been sentenced to life in prison.
