CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was seriously hurt after a shooting in Charlotte's Wilmore neighborhood early Monday morning, Medic confirmed.
Medic said the person was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It happened on South Mint Street, near the intersection with West Summit Avenue and near businesses like 1501 South Mint and the nightclub Cloud Southend.
Details about the shooting investigation are limited at this time.
An incident report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department notes it happened in the parking lot of a bar. A man told police the suspects shot him and stole his car. The CMPD report notes there are two suspects, neither of whom had been identified.
CMPD said no arrests have been made, and the incident remains under active investigation.
