WCNC Charlotte's Austin Walker spoke to neighbors who said the sounds of gunfire in the area are common. One neighbor, who didn't want to be identified due to concerns over potential backlash, said he saw a group of people talking about an oil change in the parking lot. That discussion then led to shots being fired, according to the neighbor. The shooter ran away and slipped through a hole in the fence, the neighbor said.

A different neighbor said he heard at least four shots fired.
