Deadly school stabbing in Raleigh

A third student has been taken into custody.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Southeast Raleigh High School was under a Code Red lockdown Monday after two students were stabbed – and one was killed.

Two ambulances were seen leaving the school, each followed by a police vehicle.

One student died as a result of his injuries. The other was hospitalized with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Police said a student at the school was in custody in connection with the fatal stabbing.

Police say there was a fight involving several students, but they did not give the exact number involved.
