Suspect in Bladen County shooting surrenders to police

A 911 caller reported that a man had entered the home, opened fire and left.

CLARKTON, N.C. — Taurean Reshaul Johnson, the suspect in a home invasion shooting in Bladen County that left three dead, turned himself in to authorities Sunday night.

A call to 911 just after midnight on Sunday morning reported a man entered a home at 71 Tia Lane, opened fire and left.

When Bladen County sheriff's deputies arrived, they found Katrice Lacole Murchison, 30; Ronnie Lebert Kelly, 27; and Guy Lennon Barden Jr., 60, dead in the home. Hazel Epps, 69, survived the shooting, but her condition was unknown Sunday.

All four people are believed to live in the home, authorities said.
