UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Police are investigating a shooting that left a teen injured on Saturday.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Bobwhite Circle and Canary Court on Saturday around 4:30 p.m., according to the Union County Sheriff's Office.
Police say the victim met with unknown individuals in a gray Honda Civic at the intersection before he was shot multiple times. The victim is described as a male in his late teens. No information was provided on the suspects at this time.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
