CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two people were arrested after police said they broke into an east Charlotte elementary school early Friday.
According to CMPD, officers responded to an alarm call at Albemarle Road Elementary School just before 5 a.m. When police arrived, they saw two suspects running from the school.
Officers were able to determine the school was broken into and both suspects were taken into police custody. Police have not identified the suspects at this time.
