KERSHAW, S.C. — Two people have been charged with robbing a Kershaw Bojangles, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.
Police have charged 21-year-old Marquise Ra'Chavious Mickle and 25-year-old Sha'Keidra Laadrian Collins with burglary after money was found missing on Feb. 14 at the Bojangles on 516 South Hampton St.
Lancaster County investigators determined the alleged suspects used a key to enter the building. Since Collins and Mickle were both former employees at that Bojangles location and Collins never turned in her key to the building, they quickly became suspects in the burglary.
Investigators got a search warrant for the couple's apartment and car and collected evidence that connected Mickle and Collins to the robbery.
Police arrested Mickle and Collins and took them to the Lancaster County Detention Center, where they posted bond and were released on Feb. 15.
Both suspects are charged with 2nd-degree burglary, larceny, and conspiracy to commit burglary. Collins faces an additional charge of breach of trust with fraudulent intent for failing to return the key to the restaurant after she quit.
