CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people are in the hospital Saturday night after an apparent shooting in a northwest Charlotte neighborhood.
Medic confirmed it responded to the scene along West Trade Street near Rozzelles Ferry Road around 7 p.m. The scene unfolded across the road from Johnson C. Smith University, although it was nowhere near the football stadium where a home game was being played at the time.

The two victims were taken to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
