CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people were shot at a northwest Charlotte nightclub early Monday morning. Medic responded to the incident.
It happened at Playground CLT on Freedom Drive, not far from the intersection with Moores Chapel Road.
Medic said one person has life-threatening injuries and the other has serious injuries. Both were taken to an area hospital to be treated.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not provided further information on the investigation at this time, but it comes as police were investigating two separate homicides that happened within minutes of each other early Sunday night.
