OAKBORO, N.C. -- The Stanly County Sheriff's Office made a drug bust while serving a woman with an outstanding warrant.

On Saturday, deputies went to the home of 60-year-old Regina Diana Canter in the 300 block of Peachtree Road near Oakboro to serve her with an outstanding warrant.

Canter was arrested and transported to the Stanly County Detention Center. Upon her arrival, female officers conducted a search of Canter's person and discovered Hydrocodone and Alprazolam inside of a tied-closed rubber glove hidden underneath Canter's clothing, officials say.

Canter is charged with trafficking opium or heroin, possession of a controlled substance in jail or prison, simple possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV and assault.

Her bond was set at $50,500.
