Increased security at CMS high school Thursday, district confirms

The district confirmed the increased security is in response to a possible threat.

MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — There will be increased security at Julius L. Chambers High School on Thursday, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.

The district confirmed it comes in response to a threat of a possible shooting made against the school, though no further information was made public.
