CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Grammy and Oscar-winning singer Jon Batiste is hitting the road on tour next year, and he's coming to Charlotte.
The "Uneasy Tour: Purifying The Airwaves For The People" is Batiste's first headlining tour, and comes as Batiste and his "World Music Radio" album earned a combined total of six Grammy nominations.
Before the tour kicks off in February, Batiste is also set to perform on the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which can be seen on WCNC Charlotte on Thursday, Nov. 23. Additionally, Batiste is the subject of Matthew Heineman's documentary "AMERICAN SYMPHONY," debuting on Nov. 24 in select theaters and on Nov. 29 on Netflix.
Presale tickets for the 2024 tour start on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. local time, and general tickets go on sale on Friday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. local time.
